Belzebub is a group of talented and experienced musicians, who specialise in the music of England, Scotland, Ireland and America. The band members have been performing folk songs and dance tunes for over 30 years and have a wealth of experience, which they put into practice at folk clubs and ceilidhs.
Most of the band’s engagements are barn dances but it is a very versatile outfit and can also be booked for folk clubs, ceilidhs, Burns’ Night, St Patrick’s Night or square dances. In addition the band enjoys playing for medieval banquets and other theme nights.
Belzebub also play barn dances and ceilidhs under the names of Reel Easy and The Shire Band.
“A great, fun band and they do like their music very much indeed. Marvellous”

Pete performs regularly, and with acclaim, at numerous folk clubs in the Midlands. Songs from the 60s and 70s are his forte, but he wanders into other areas, too, with great success.
Ahead of their appearance in concert at the OSCA Centre in March, performing a feature spot for us will be
Paul Walker and Karen Pfeiffer
With their unique onstage-chemistry and their often commented-on very special harmonies, the Anglo-German duo ‘Paul Walker & Karen Pfeiffer’ entertain and engage their audiences with acoustic originals and folk club favourites. Briefly, “Songs with groove and goose bumps guaranteed”, as a German newspaper put it recently.
Dave started by playing a Chad Valley tin banjo, when he was 10 years old, till he blistered his thumb and he was hooked! He bought his first home-made guitar at twelve. He played in beat groups in Cumbria in the swinging 60s, then found folk at 17. He fell in love with twelve-string guitar at 18 and has been playing one ever since.
And your hosts, of course, are
