Belzebub is a group of talented and experienced musicians, who specialise in the music of England, Scotland, Ireland and America. The band members have been performing folk songs and dance tunes for over 30 years and have a wealth of experience, which they put into practice at folk clubs and ceilidhs.
Most of the band’s engagements are barn dances but it is a very versatile outfit and can also be booked for folk clubs, ceilidhs, Burns’ Night, St Patrick’s Night or square dances. In addition the band enjoys playing for medieval banquets and other theme nights.
Belzebub also play barn dances and ceilidhs under the names of Reel Easy and The Shire Band.
“A great, fun band and they do like their music very much indeed. Marvellous”

Ray Jane is a fine singer, who also plays bass, guitar, flute and whistles. Ray played in a duo called The King’s Shilling before joining The Plumtree Country Dance Band, which was the forerunner of BELZEBUB. Ray is also the band’s caller.
