Irish Band Comharsa, based in Polesworth and Tamworth, is becoming an established part of the local music scene since being formed in 2012. Playing locally and in Birmingham and Coventry and the surrounding area. The band decided on the name Comharsa ( Pronounced Corsa), which in Gaelic means neighbour.
Since then they have gone from strength to strength performing in large and small venues. The band are of Irish descent and play an array of instruments The Band have 6 members with Mick Stanley his daughters Alison and Emma and his brother, Tom, along with Mick McGrath and Brian Wilson.
Together they create the unique Irish sound that was produced by bands such as The Dubliners, the Clancey Brothers, and the Pogues. The band will play music that you can’t help but clap and dance along to, with a good mixture of Irish, contemporary and Folk music.

Formed especially as the host group for Atherstone Folk Club in June 2013, Finger In The Jar are Anne & Steve Beeson and Phil Benson.
Finger In The Jar perform as a group, as duos and as solo artists, depending on the songs being sung.
