Crox
Arnold Chave and Alan Stocks have been heavily involved in music since the 1970s and 1960s respectively. In January 2017, they decided that their separate and distinctive musical backgrounds could be brought to bear in collaboration, and Double A came into being. Since then, they have decided that ‘Crox’ better describes them, so ‘Crox’ it is!
The Wright Brothers
The Wright Brothers were part of an active local folk band in the 60s and 70s. Having recently reformed as a duo, they sing mostly traditional songs and play a variety of instruments.
Their focus is on chorus songs.
Coolin
Coolin are three old mates (literally) with a love of harmony and chorus songs who first got together to perform in the early 1970s. They are:

Jan and Campbell
Jan and Campbell have not been around the contemporary folk scene for very long. Although, in Campbell’s case, it was a return after a 40-year break! Jan has a wealth of experience singing in large choirs and Campbell worked as a freelance writer of musical theatre. They sing mainly self-penned songs, with a scattering of contemporary and traditional material thrown in for good measure.
Tangent
Tangent is a four-piece “folksy” band made up of two separate duos that happened to meet while attending a casual musical evening in Donisthorpe. Father and daughter, Graham Kettle and Sarah Howells, regularly entertained with their harmonious renditions of folk songs old and new while instrumentalists Dominic Parkhouse and Martin O’Connor always impressed with their unique interpretations of a wide range of melodies. A suggestion that the two duos should perform together soon became a reality with Tangent officially born in the later part of 2016.
Finger In The Jar
Formed especially as the host group for Atherstone Folk Club in June 2013, Finger In The Jar are Anne & Steve Beeson and Phil Benson.
Finger In The Jar perform as a group, as duos and as solo artists, depending on the songs being sung.
Sue Sanders
Hailing from Halifax, music teacher Sue has been involved in folk music for “a little while”. Currently living in Nuneaton with husband Phil, she plays fiddle, and sings.
A regular at folk clubs and festivals, she is bound to add joy to any evening.
Daisybell
Daisybell are Katherine Fear, Anya Fay, and Ginny White; a folk trio singing and playing original and traditional material with a strong emphasis on harmonies and fun!
Wendy Freer
Wendy started singing to audiences at primary schools and got interested in folk music as a teenager when folk was all the rage; she was a big fan of Ewan McColl and Joan Baez. Wendy was a member of a folk group at college and before moving to Ashby was a regular at Maidenhead Folk Club for many years. She plays guitar and long arm banjo but most of all enjoys singing, especially unaccompanied.
